Ratt--Dancing Undercover (1986)
Rating--8.4
Looking For Love--RealAudio
Stronger overall than the previous 'Invasion of Your Privacy', as more songs return to the consistent catchiness of 'Out
of the Cellar'. More nasty riffs are thrown our way, as the band's arena-style metal remains strong. Hey, why change a good thing?
Several overlooked gems are present, most notably "One Good Lover", "Drive Me Crazy", and "Looking For Love". All
three drip with chops and pump along nicely, with "Looking" being one of the group's all-time sleepers. The more recognized--but still
very solid--cuts include "Dance", "Body Talk", and "Slip of the Lip". "Enough is Enough" does a good job closing the disc out,
as it contains a heavy and driving chorus.
