Rage--Lingua Mortis (1996/Gun) Rating--5.3

The band, playing along with the Symphonic Orchestra Prague. An interesting idea... but the mixing and production pretty much ruin this disc. The guitar/distortion is very much in the background--at times it is hardly even discernable. When it can be heard, the sound is very muddled.
I find myself wondering how the band could have heard the finished product, and not changed it in some way. Ahhh well.
The first "Alive But Dead" version has its moments, as do both the "Black in Mind" medley and the "All This Time" instrumental piece.
Unfortunately, not much to get excited about here.
