Radakka--Requiem For the Innocent (1998/Century Media)
Rating--8.5

Queen of Autumn--RealAudio
Moreso straight-forward metal than the expansive, experimental power of before. Marshall-like distortion, which was of the sharper variety on the debut. The second half of the disc is the strongest, with the closing trilogy probably containing the highest points.
"Still a Stranger" is thick and chugging, and "Azriel" follows suit with some nasty chords and chops. "Sit Up and Sweat" is driving, and "Cult of One" is a nice slow churner, with a strong chorus.
"Gothic Rain" is a thumping and driving track, and is enhanced by mixed male and female vocal parts. The winding, shifting, and powerful "Queen of Autumn" is another strong facet of the closing trilogy.
In all, some good work is contained here. However, the bar had been set a little too high following the debut, and in that light of comparison the band falls a bit short.
