Jet City Woman--RealAudio Empire--RealAudio

Some really excellent songs on this disc, but overall not nearly as solid as the previous release. Then again, that's a tough standard to be up against. The style is still Queensryche, though the sound isn't quite as heavy and fast-paced.
"Jet City Woman" and the title track are simply superb, which in part explains the high rating. Other notables are "The Best I Can" and "The Thin Line". The band's biggest commercial hit also hails from this album-- "Silent Lucidity," as well as the powerful, chorus-heavy "Anybody Listening?"
HOT CHOPS--The bass work in "The Best I Can"-- subtle but powerful. Listen to it with headphones for the full effect. Also, Tate's vocal range on "Jet City Woman". The dude can just flat-out sing...
