The band's music has a heavier slant the second time around, and a new singer is featured as well?this time with a deeper, rough-edged voice. There's more bottom-heaviness and chugging present, though it still falls under the power/prog category.
The flowing and heavy "Suffercation" opens the disc, while other high points are sprinkled throughout: "Choke On Me," "Realms of Deceit," "Controlling Nation," "Less Than Zero," and "This Pain".
The album's apex is reached with the nasty churn-riffs of "Face Your Judgment"?a top-notch track!
