A couple of songs make feeble attempts to salvage this release, but there isn't a lot of support afterwards. Entirely too much keyboard work, as the guitars and what little bit of distortion is to be found is mixed way in the back. Blech.
"The Wild and the Young" reminds of the band's earlier solid work, and "Twilight Hotel" is slower but decent. There's a little sass in "Down and Dirty," and "Main Attraction" has some good vocal work, but really.... I'm probably pulling at straws here. Again, I say "blech."
