A Christain indie band from Louisiana, Purge brings forth a fairly raw feel-- occasionally blending elements of doom, groove, and the like. Rough, gritty vocals... which match well with the coarse overtones. A decent foundation upon which to through more ideas in the future.
Strong notes dot "The Change," while the chunky, driving chords of "Wall" stand out.
"Born Again" is probably the album's top spot, with a flowing and energetic pace. Both "The Only Way" and the faster "Closer Now" are adequate, as well.
