A tighter guitar sound, as the band blends together a nice power/hardcore style. Some of the latest grooves of Prong are brought to mind, as well as some rapid chord riffs that approach Slayer, or even a Rage.
Check out that damn stop-and-go verse frame in "State of Mind"... brutal!
"Gunya Down" is a fast track with lots of pace changes, and "Political Suicide" is rapid and groovy. All of "Shine," "Odd Man Out," and the title cut are strong fare.
