Poison--Open Up and Say...Ahh! (1988/Capitol)

Nothin' But a Good Time--RealAudio
Still way too cheesy, and not as riffy and raw as the debut, to boot.
The party hearty "Nothin' But a Good Time" helped out album sales, as did the ballad single "Every Rose Has its Thorn". "Fallen Angel" is a solid track, and both "Love on the Rocks" and "Look But You Can't Touch" have attitude.
I'm not big on any of the individual Poison releases, as there's little solidity all the way through. However, I stand by my beliefs that the group's 'Greatest Hits' disc is a nice little slab, culminating the few high (read: quality) points the band amassed. This album, however, is no such collection.
