We Go Down--RealAudio Cold Day in Hell--RealAudio

Once again, Primal Fear pulls no punches, and delivers another stack of solid power metal. Ralf Scheepers and Mat Sinner remain at the band's molten core, and their stamps are deep on each track. There are several songs that are all-out fast, while others feature the occasional Sinner-like chord grooving. In all, another fine metal experience for the traditionalist fans.
Lots of highlights here. "We Go Down" is a tasty rip, and "Cold Day in Hell" features a stalking prowl that we've come to expect from the band.
"Silence" has an evil crawl, and is joined by other strong cuts such as "Lightyears From Home," "Mind Control," "Mind Machine," and the mutli-riffed "Fear". Both "Armageddon" and the title track are of the faster nature, and make their marks at the album's onset.
Four albums in and still smoking, Primal Fear shows no signs of slowing down or letting up on the crunch.
