Out of Control--RealAudio
An all-female offering, and a better-than-average debut. Greatness will be achieved on the band's second release, but for now they're still feeling their way through a bit.
Co-produced by Megadeth's Marty Friedman, the sound is a mix between Warlock (for obvious reasons) and Dokken. Great guitar solos throughout, with powerful, full-ranged vocals--not your typical female metal style (a la Vixen). Good '80s heavy rock, though not quite exceptional.
Highlights include "Going Mad", "Last Shot", "Why Call it Love", "Frantic Zone", and "Walking Away". "Out of Control" conjures shadow visions of a certain Mr. Lynch, but just wait until the next disc...
This was backed and supported in part by Don Dokken as well...
