Paragon--The Final Command

Paragon--The Final Command (1998/B.O.) Rating--7.6

Grinding, chuggy German power metal, as there are shades of Grave Digger, Sacred Steel, and faster Accept. The vocals are gratey for the most part, with some high-pitched bursts at times. Again, a lot like Grave Digger.
A pulse rhythm mixes with stutter strafing in "Under the Gun," and both "Eternal Life" and "Eye for an Eye" are cutting and good.
"Ashes" is a creeping and stalking track, and a bonus shows up as the band covers Warrior's "Fighting For the Earth"--a note-driven, slow-paced head mover!
