More of the same from the German power metallers, as they continue to dish out the groove-and-grind tasties. The clarity on 'Steelbound' was a big step forward, and the band has possibly achieved a slightly better distortion sound on this disc, as well.
The energy-driven pace of "Abducted" kicks things off, with other good tracks being "Shadow World," "Empires Fall," and the grinding "Armies of the Tyrants".
An excellent chorus marks "Allied Forces," and the digipak buyers will get to hear a bonus cover track of Saxon's "To Hell and Back Again".
