Power/speed metal in the vein of Destiny's End, and there are some Maiden and Hammerfall-like galloping moments as well. The vocals are in the same mold as James Rivera, and maybe a little Tim Owens (Winters Bane era). A decent metal release; as is the case with Destiny's End, a bit more bottom-end solidity would be an asset.
Both "Storm Coming Soon" and the title song are good, and "The Last Sunset" is a solid cut. Perhaps the best offering is the tight, chord-rhythm driven "Witches Winter Eternal," which has a fantastic and rolling chorus.
