Nasty Savage--Penetration Point (1989/Crook'd) Rating--5.6

This is a reissue of the band's 1989 release, now on Crook'd Records. The group features Ben Meyer of Lowbrow, as well as members of Infernal. This is basically thrashy, not-well-refined metal, along the lines of S.O.D., Cruella, and a little Tourniquet. Nothing really spectacular here.
The best tracks include "Ritual Submission," "Puzzled," and "Powerslam," while the instrumental "Horizertical" has some good chops and rhythms.
