Mystic Prophecy - Never-Ending (2004/Nuclear Blast)
Rating - 8.2

This 3rd release is more of the same. The great music is still present, but the band may have reached a point where they need to progress and grow a bit (or at the very least, write better vocal sections). Despite the undeniable talent the members possess, they're not really standing out in the metal community as of this ablum's release --- their first two albums certainly warrant it, though.
Both "Dust of Evil" and "Wings of Eternity" have perfect examples of what I like to call "tasty chops". No doubt about it -- Gus G. can play! "Dead Moon Rising" has a pre-solo stalk, and all of "In Hell," "Time Will Tell," "When I'm Falling," and "Warriors of Lies" are good.
