Enlighten Me--RealAudio

Masterplan is a supergroup of sorts, featuring Roland Grapow and Uli Kusch from Helloween, and Jorn Lande from Ark (and countless other bands). The music has a power/prog/symponic feel to it, with plenty of both keys and distortion.. Regarding the choice of Lande as a singer--he's certainly quite capable, and has a strong voice. However, a band will always run the risk of sounding like others, as Lande has sung with four or five different units over the past several years: Beyond Twilight, Millenium, Ark, his own solo band... the list goes on. Admittedly, though, this is definitely his heaviest and Power-slanted work to date.
A really good, smooth-edged chorus highlights "Enlighten Me," while the song still remains heavy. "When Love Comes Close" is a slower song, but features a solid chord backdrop, and "Bleeding Eyes" is chugging and paced. Both "Soulburn" and "Crystal Night" thud along nicely, as well.
Other good tracks include "Kind Hearted Light," "Sail On," and "Crawling From Hell."
