Morgana Lefay (and sometimes just "Lefay") has been tremendously consistent and solid for well over a decade now, thougth this is their first release since 2000. They made the wait worth it, though, as this has all the ingredients for success --- thick... good distortion... angry (but clear) vocals... nice! There are a number of excellent tracks found here, which stack up against the many other gems in their past (underrated) catalog.
The deep-resounding vocal chorus of "Hollow" mixes perfectly with the head-pounding grind of its music, with "Blind" being another thumping and evil track. Uber-strong cuts include "On the Other Side" and "I Roam," with plenty of good selections being only slightly in their wake: "My Funeral is Calling," "Edge of Mind," "Angel's Deceit," "The Operation of the Sun," and "Grand Materia".
