Motorhead--Rock N' Roll (1987)
Rating--6.3
A decent metal release with a bunch of heavy tunes---but overall not a benchmark album. The band does a nice job keeping the
pace of its songs swift and strong, and manage enough riffs to add variety as well. "Eat the Rich," "Blackheart," "Traitor," and
"Dogs" stand out the most.
"Boogeyman" is intriguing in its almost punkish format, and both "The Wolf" and the title track
are standard fast fare for Lemmy and the boys. And they trudge along...
