Motorhead--Bastards (1993/ZYX)
Rating--7.9

Liar--RealAudio
This album is a big part of the band's '90s resurrection--despite the fact that is a rare find on CD, having been released on an overseas label. A strong release showcasing different facets of the classic punk-and-thrash tinged Motorhead sound. There's plenty of the energy-packed fare, and some slower-paced tracks show up as well. A good release.
Nasty grinding surfaces in both "Liar" and "I'm Your Man," while all of "On Your Feet or On Your Knees," "Burner," and "I Am the Sword" are bristling and abrasive.
A lighter, more free-flowing mood highlights "Born to Raise Hell" and "Bad Woman," as Lemmy and the boys compile a diverse, solid collection.
