Memory Garden--Mirage (2001/Metal Blade) Rating--7.9

The band's second Metal Blade offering features more vitality and a higher number of swift-paced tracks, and also shows shades of more power, less doom. However, while several tracks are better than anything on 'Verdict of Posterity,' overall it's not quite as consistent a release.
"A Long Grey Day" offers of good rhythm, and "Navigate" stands out as well. "Hallowed Soil" features a nasty little groove, and the swift "Revelation" matches its intensity.
