My Demon--RealAudio
Not as thick sounding as the surrounding releases, as most of the songs never get a strong flow to them, and are too choppy rather than being riff-based and nasty. The guitar sound, while not as powerful as before, is still interesting in that it has a crisp quality a lot like late '70s/'Sad Wings'-era Priest. Don't necessarly associate Fate's music on this disc with that comparison---just the intriguing guitar sound.
"My Demon" is probably the finest track of this collection, with a strong riff base and backbeat. Both "Lady in Black" and "Angel of Light" are good, as they shift from dark-to-metallic distinctions.
Overall, this one just doesn't hold the attention like some of the unit's other releases.
