Mercyful Fate--Into the Unknown (1986)

The Ghost of Change--RealAudio
Following a little spoken (and rather demonic, btw) intro, "The Uninvited Guest" descends with a jackhammer rhythm,
and you realize the Fate is as strong as ever. Next up is the disc's best cut, "The Ghost of Change". Driving and neckbreaking,
and nonstop 'til the end.
"Under the Spell" has a good pace, and "Holy Water" is strong and slashing, with the band's
classic distortion spilling over the sides. Intermixed are "Listen to the Bell", "Deadtime", and the title track--all solid offerings.
