Metalium--Hero Nation - chapter three (2002/Massacre)
Rating--8.4
In the Name of Blood--RealAudio
The third release from Metalium, and they follow the same basic power-driven formula as before. While there may not be many standout tracks, you instead have
a platter of extremely above-average, steady cuts. While fantasy-tinged in theme, the band avoids being quite as cheesy as groups like Manowar and Hammerfall. The
band's sound is also slightly rawer and more powerful than those units.
"In the Name of Blood" is crunchy, and both "Odin's Spell" and "Accused to be a Witch" are
solid. "Revenge of Tizona" and "Throne in the Sky" are two of the disc's faster tracks, while both "Rasputin" and "Fate Conquered the Power" have some back-moving
sways to them.
Tasty European power.
