Megadeth--Killing is My Business...And Business is Good! (1985)
Rating--6.4

Chosen Ones--RealAudio
First post-Metallica effort from singer/songwriter/guitarist Dave Mustaine, and it's more than a little rough around the edges. The makings of a strong thrash machine are present, but at this point a lack of production and overall chohesiveness of the songs detract from the experience as a whole; not nearly up to par with Metallica's own debut.
"Chosen Ones", "Looking Down the Cross", and the title song all contain good riffs, and "Skull Beneath the Skin" throws in a strong thrash groove. "Rattlehead" is a fast mover, with a good tempo change midway through.
Take a close listen to closing track "Mechanix". Yep, you got it--that's "The Four Horsemen" on uppers...
