Dr. Feelgood--RealAudio She Goes Down--RealAudio

The Crue keeps chugging right along. This disc is a lot lot like 1985's 'Theatre,' only that the songs have a much more upbeat feel to them. In any case, the band seemed to gain back any numbers it may have lost on its last release.
The attitude displayed on some of the songs here is almost summertime and Kix-ish, such as "Same Ol' Situation" and "Don't Go Away Mad". However, the patented raunch still lurks in the shadows, especially on silky smooth rockers like "Slice of Your Pie," "Sticky Sweet," and "She Goes Down". Other supercharged highlights include "Kickstart My Heart" and the bruising title song. A solid "comeback," if such a title is needed.
