Motley Crue--Decade of Decadence (1991)
Rating--7.4
So what does a band do, at the height of its commercial success? Why, it breaks up, of course! Internal conflicts wreak yet
another band, as the Crue releases this sorry excuse for a "greatest hits" package (coupled with a few new songs) as a (then)
swan song. Sorry, guys, but two songs from each of five splendid studio albums just doesn't cut it. M
The definite highlights are
the remixes of 1982's "Live Wire" and "Piece of Your Action," and also the song "Teaser," which had previously only been
available on the compilation album 'Stairway to Heaven, Highway to Hell'.
A very surface overview of the band.
And while three new tracks are included (with two being pretty decent), they really only serve to mock the fans who simply wanted another grooving album...
