Much like the previous release, this is a bit of a blend between classic and newer metal. Not bad at all overall, though not quite as solid as its predecessor.
The main reason is a lack of any real standout tracks. A couple come close near disc's end, such as "Blinded by Life" and the strongest cut, "More Than Your
Master".
Other songs which are definitely above-average (though yeah, probably unmemorable in the long run) include the faster "Mirror of Lies," the slightly
stalking pace of "The Believer," and "Disappear". A little bonus is a remake of the group's biggest '80s video/"hit," "Watch the Children Pray". Very similiar to the
original, it still lurks and crawls along dungean walls, just like was depicted on MTV so many years ago...
