A same-year release as the excellent 'Hail to England,' this album shows signs of being rushed rather than continuing in similar strength. The songwriting, energy, and overall cohesiveness fails to measure up to 'Hail,' and serves as a slight dip in the band's catalog.
There are several above-standard tracks, with the 7-minute epic "Guyana (Cult of the Damned) perhaps being the top spot. Other decent moments include "Thor (The Power Head)" and the title cut.
