World Gone Wrong--RealAudio
Much heavier than the debut, in terms of actual distortion. The songs pick up as well, as the band eliminates the main problem
that plagued its first offering, which was general lethargy and uneventfulness. The closest comparison here would be
Radakka's debut disc.
A nice riff-induced drive allows "Wild at Heart" to rock, and pace changes
keep things interesting. A mean chug backs "Lord of the Pain," and the slow and thick tracks "Shadows"
and "Flash in the Night" are nice as well.
"Transient" is rolling and fast-paced, and the mean slide riffing of "World Gone
Wrong" makes it a top highlight. More prog-like time changes dot "Baptism of Fire", as it moves from light strains to distorted grooves.
As stated earlier, quite the improvement, and it also places the band firmly in the "who to watch" category of power/prog metal.
