Loudness--Lightning Strikes (1986)
Rating--8.1
Ashes in the Sky--RealAudio
Sort of a Japanese version of Dokken, as there are extremely sharp guitar riffs and sounds
throughout, bumping along like a heavier Ratt at times--and a sharper EZO.
Just keep that in mind--lots of chops. Vocal-wise, visions of the clear and range-powerful Lizzy Borden
spring to mind.
Listen to the grooving chorus of "Dark Desire" and enjoy. Also, tremendous and grinding distortion powers
"Ashes in the Sky" and "Street Life Dream," with great riffs all over "1000 Eyes".
A sharp, heavy '80s effort--which translates
well to the following decade.
