Wicked Witches--RealAudio
Like its predecessor 'Ghetto Machine,' this offering features a number of songs that are neither very distortion-sharp, nor catchy to the ear. The bass is mixed farther to the front than used to be the band's norm, and the overall feel is affected as a result. Better than the last, but still a dissapointment-- considering the band's past.
"Wicked Witches" has some chord thumping, and the more upbeat "Crazy Go-Go" actually sounds a bit like older Kiss.
A slower stalk accentuates "Babylon," while "Forbidden Love" is smooth-paced. A fairly heavy frame helps "Nightcreepers" close the disc out...
