Loudness--Hurricane Eyes (1987/ATCO) Rating--7.7

Sharp music, with good riffs and chops. Pretty much standard fare from the Loudness boys-- reminiscent of Ratt, EZO, and the like.
The rapid and energetic pace of "S.D.I." opens the disc up, and is followed by the note-steady riffs of "This Lonely Heart". Fast guitar notes and chords mix well within "Strike of the Sword," with "Rock This Way" being good and rhythmic.
Both "Take Me Home" and "In This World Beyond" are above-average cuts.
