The male/female mixed vocals continue, with Cristina Scabbia somewhat being a blend between Natalie Merchant and the gothic sounds of Drain sth's women. Like the preceding EP 'Halflife', this CD features numerous "good" cuts, while foregoing any real "great" ones.
A mesmerizing chorus is the focal point of "Cold Heritage," and the vocals are also a driving part of "Distant Sun". "Senzafine," "When a Dead Man Walks" and "1.19" are good tracks nestled in the middle of the album.
