Lowbrow--Victims at Play (1999/Crook'd) Rating--7.5

This death metal unit features former members of Six Feet Under and Nasty Savage. Some of the thickness of SFU is apparent, as well as a few Slayer-like qualities. There are also occasional hints at a little Morbid Angel-- though the music is much more flowing. Overall, a pretty good DM release.
A couple of nasty tracks show up in "Co-Dependent" and "Cold Stale Souls," while opener "Flesh Parade" is a thick piece.
A constant, rapid pace moves a number of songs, including "Done In," "Restoration," "Bloody Meat," and "Intered in Dirt". A little groove twists its way through "Disheveled," completing the picture.
