Misery Loves Company--RealAudio
Lillian Axe is probably the best example of the late-80s metal scene decline. They churned out metal that, three years earlier,
would have packed 15,000 seat arenas nightly, and would have gone multi-platinum in a matter of months. This is metal from the
same breath and mold as Ratt, Dokken, the Crue, and
so forth--and should have shared the same success. Lucky for us they perservered long enough to crank out a number of
ultra-fine discs.
A solid bar rhythm groove winds through "Inside Out," and "Misery Loves Company" is a pure Lynch-like drive.
The paced and thick "Hard Luck" is a treat, and both "Picture Perfect" and "The More That You Get" are solid.
