All's Fair in Love and War--RealAudio
Musical growth is shown by the band, in both the songwriting and the playing. However, there is still little respect given, as sales would be stagnant and the band would be deemed to move towards underground (rather than mainstream) glory.
The strong and slashing "All's Fair in Love and War" begins the fest, and is followed up with the great notes of "She Likes It On Top."
"The World Stopped Turning," while not terribly heavy, is still a powerful track, and both "My Number" and "Show a Little Love" are good as well. Nasty chops and harmonics help "Letters in the Rain" close the disc out in fashion, as the band continues forward through a commercial minefield.
