The "other" Guns act from California, Tracii Guns's troupe never made it with anywhere near the level of success as former bandmate Axl Rose's did. Similar to GNR's 'Appetite' style, though never quite as hook-driven--and thus not standing out as much. Rawer than fellow sleeze merchants Motley Crue, though...
"Sex Action" has a great thump n' bump rhythm to entice early on, and "One More Reason" is fast and heavy, with good chops.
"Hollywood Tease" is heavy and raw, and "Electric Gypsy" is another up-tempo cruiser.
A decent debut, and the start of a career that is still chugging along today. Ultimately, though, the group will always suffer from the inevitable L.A. genre comparisons.
