It's fairly self explanatory. Groups are listed alphabetically, and then respective albums are listed chronologically, from the earliest to the most recent. The albums are given a brief written review, and also a numerical rating. The rating system is from 0-10, and covers all points in between. So, yes--basically it's a 100 point system.
Also included on some of the earlier reviews is a "HOT CHOPS" section. This includes my personal favorite spots from each album--whether it be a cool, crunching riff, or a particulary moving vocal piece.
The ratings are determined by the music itself, of course, but also the production... the lifeline/expectations of the group at the time... and other such intrinsic qualities. (But mainly it's how good the songs are. )

I still have many, many discs to review and post, and as I want this to be a thorough representation of the featured selections it will take some time for the page to fill out. Be patient, and if your favorite band isn't represented, drop a line-- I'll add it to my evergrowing list...
