After the stylistic alterations that marked 'Endorama,' Mille Petrozza and his German bandmates return to their roots, delivering a platter of focused thrash cuts. Sometimes chunky, sometimes rapid-paced, this one is a treat from start to end.
The crackle-crunching stutter chops of the title track demand your attention, and "System Decay" is an excellent back-breaker for the pit. The workman-like pace of "Servant in Heaven/King in Hell" forges forward with its head down, and "Second Awakening" is yet another strong mark.
Other good selections include "All of the Same Blood (Unity)," "Replicas of Life," "Slave Machinery," and "Mind on Fire".
