Got of Thunder--RealAudio
An exciting collage of sing-along Kiss staples, as well as a dark classic buried deep within...
This album is anthemic to the end, and considered by many fans to be one of the top shining moments of the band's career.
The bass and drum-driven "Detroit Rock City" starts things off, and the disc rolls from there. Quick and to the point,
but this was the style back then, what with the band releasing an album every year, and rocking arenas from coast to coast.
Other highlights include the smooth "Do You Love Me," the sing-along crowd-pleaser "Shout it Out Loud," the Peter Criss-sung
ballad "Beth," and "God of Thunder".
HOT CHOPS: "God of Thunder." Oooooh. Hear the kiddies playing at the beginning? Makes you want to come up behind them
and give a whispered warning: "Something wicked this way comes..."
