King Diamond - The Eye (1990/Roadrunner)
Rating - 8.3

One of King Diamond’s patented storylines is featured, and solid music is everywhere. The songwriting is extremely consistent throughout, making ‘The Eye’ a golden nugget amongst his solo releases.
The strong and crawling "Eye of the Witch" opens the fray, with "The Trial" and its prancing verses following up. "Behind These Walls" is a driving treat, and all of "Burn," "The Meeting," and "The Curse" are good.
