Perfect 'O'--RealAudio
Lenny Wolf and company forge their own identity on this sophomore release, shunning the Led Zep label with catchy and solid offerings throughout. Reminding of--but not limited to--the winding and mystic styles of a Scorpions or Kik Tracee, the boys rock rightously here.
"Do You Like It" begins with a driving beat, then gives way to the steady headstrong groove of "Who Do You Love". Smooth and mesmerizing...
"The Wind" is methodical and slow-paced, with solid mood riffs ala Fastway from their 'Trick or Treat' era. "Perfect 'O'" is a pure rocker--a strong flow, and at 1:55 the riff change goes from good to better, and the result is ultra heavy!
"Mean Dirty Joe" is tremendous with its bass-driven beat groove, and both "Just Like a Wild Rose" and "Stargazer" are solid, if unspectacular.
I picked this one up in a pawn shop for $4--if you find yourself in the same situation, do likewise...
