Kamelot--The Fourth Legacy (1999/Noise)
Rating--8.4
Nights of Arabia--RealAudio
The Florida power/prog group's fourth release overall, and second with enchanting vocalist Khan. This release is a bit chunkier
and more etched than the previous offering, and is pretty solid throughout.
The swift title track leads off, followed by the bass-
driven thump of "Silent Goddess". A great, soaring chorus marks "Nights of Arabia," while the windng and chugging "Inquisitor"
is a top highlight.
"Lunar Sanctum" is a strong track, and both "The Shadow of Uther" and "Until Kingdom Come" are nice
and swift.
The band presents good metal musings, to be sure...
But it's still not up to the level of Khan's former band-- Conception.
