More great tunes, and outstanding production for the day. This is one I'd really love to see get remastered.
The guitar work has finally turned the corner for Priest on this one, as the chords are crisp and Tipton and Downing are in sync
throughout. Solid from start to finish, as just about every song is a highlight.
Includes the emotional classic "Beyond the
Realms of Death," as well as the pre speed-era burner "Exciter". Other amazing songs which deserve more respect in the
metal world: "Saints in Hell," "Savage," "Heroes End," and the title track.
HOT CHOPS--Tipton's solo in "Beyond the Realms of Death" is considered by many to be his most
emotional piece. Also, Rob's vocal work on a number of songs-- including "Saints" and "Heroes"-- is absolutely stellar.
