Judas Priest--Rocka Rolla (1974)
Rating--6.3

Rocka Rolla--RealAudio
The first Priest disc, and with a much lighter guitar sound. The band was obviously still experimenting with its overall direction, as its come across extremely different in only a couple of years. Some riffs are heavy, but the overall sound changed a lot after this disc---mainly mood-oriented rock on this one. Contains several memorables such as "One For the Road," "Run of the Mill," "Cheater," and the rolling title song. Halford is still Halford, though, and he gets his screams in. Might want to skip it unless you're a huge fan and/or collector.
