Ram it Down--RealAudio
Close to the same sound as on Turbo, but with a few heavier moments. You can tell the band is returning
to its roots a bit, but doesn't quite make it all the way back. Of particular interest are the title song and "Heavy Metal," two heavy
and pulsing classics.
Several other tracks stand out, including the mood piece "Blood Red Skies," an upbeat cover of
"Johnny B. Goode," and the extremely overlooked "Hard as Iron."
Tipton and Downing go back to really showing off
their talents on this one, as the songwriting kicks it up a notch. Still not very popular upon its release, though...
HOT CHOPS--The guitar solos in the title song are stellar. Also, "Hard as Iron" is strong, as a whole. Another
overlooked Priest classic, with some powerful Halford vocals.
