Jag Panzer continues to produce the same chunky, solid power metal. Still not as charismatic as the band's 'Fourth Judgment' disc, which remains the comparative point for each of its releases, it seems. Solid none-the-less, as there are majestic and golden-throated vocal sections, strong chords, and cranking distortion.
The driving rhythm of "The Scarlet Letter" is a thick highlight, and "Frozen in Fear" is another top spot.
Other favorable selections include "Take to the Sky," the chanting/ monk backgrounds of "Unworthy," "Power Surge," and the solid and methodical "Hidden In My Eyes".
