Take My Soul--RealAudio
Hard rock that reminds a great deal of older, mid-80's Bon Jovi. The vocals sound very much like JBJ as well, with dashes of Enuff Z'nuff in places. There are good hooks and melodies throughout; a nice buy for fans of the arena-sound era.
A number of songs stand out as being good, including the roll and bite of "Take My Soul," and the slashing, smooth-edged "But I Like It". The band shows off its vocal blending talents on tracks such as "Live and Let Die," "Hey God Don't Hesitate," and the ballad "With Your Eyes." "Aint a Perfect World" is from a heavier mold, and has a sharp disposition.
"When You Hear the Thunder" and "Easy Lover" can be added to the list of positive marks, and a bonus is a cover of the Rainbow track "Stonecold".
