Prog metal, with an attempt at early, thumping Queensryche. There are also some shades of Lethal, and the disc has a good second-half pickup. As is the case with many small-label units, the recording mix could be touched up a bit.
"Here Today Gone Tomorrow" has a strong drive with rolling notes, and "The Bridge of Dawn" is another highlight.
Other good tracks include "Fading Shadows," "Static Vision," and the title cut.
